- The Stratford Gala Auction for The QUILT: Support for People Living with Cancer, an auction of more than 80 handcrafted quilts, takes place November 6, 2009. People from across North America have donated their artistry through the creation of quilts in all shapes, sizes and colours to express their emotional and physical support to cancer patients and survivors, their families and friends.
